Sat down thinkin I need to get out of this funk.. and this happened.
One of Arkieden's Shatterstorm Hounds. Let me tell you, these guys suck to fight.

Rawr.

It is difficult to make a shiny wolf, btw. Ocelit said "shinier." :|

Puppy shiny puppy

is the fur as sharp as the teeth, and claws?

I name thy Eat Your Face

snuggle, get devoured, die happy.

Oh yes. He is pretty much sharp all the way around. They have hollow quills of pokey-ness. So, you know, perfect for cuddles.

You can make it look shinier by making the highlights with a sharper brush :3 Thats one badass hound. Pardon my ignorance, but what is Arkieden?

I did use a sharp brush, it was just at low opacity. In the beginning, anyway. Ocelit said "shinier" and I cranked it up a bit.

Then I realized it was late at night and I no longer had any idea what I was drawing. My eyes sometimes get very tired. :(

Arkieden is a tabletop roleplaying game Ocelit is in the process of publishing. MOST of the shit in my gallery, that isn't for other people, is from Arkieden. You can go here if you wanna check out more about it (always under construction) [link] , as I need to get the hell outta here cuz im late for a meeting O.O

It's best to take short breaks every now and then from your work, so you can spot the imperfections. That's why I never take breaks, so everything seems flawless :'D

That's actually pretty cool. It's always inspiring when people get stuff like that done :3

There are times when I finish an image, go to sleep, wake up and promptly delete all the work I did the night before. I swear to god I am one hell of a bi-polar artist. It takes me minutes to go from "I CAN DRAW ANYTHING" to "I WILL DELETE EVERYTHING IN MY GALLERY."

Perhaps I should just stop looking at my own stuff- start using the Force to draw my damned pictures.

Inspiring indeed, when you're not living in the same house with a person who is trying to do it... paints a totally different picture when you see what the person puts themselves through to try to get shit done. :\

I think every artist is like that :/ I had half a mind to set myself on fire the other night.

You need to get the new PS4 with that Media Molecule they presented last night. You can just dance with the move-controllers in your hands and sculpt :D

And I can imagine. I'm propably a horrible person to live with, considering the hellish artist's blocks that prevent any bloodcirculation and proper communication skills.

My god, that's a thing?
MY GOD. THAT'S A THING. When can I get one and how much does it cost? I MUST LEAR MORE ABOUT THIS. I hope it's half as awesome as my brain is telling me it is.

See, that's why I got in the habit of leaving the house when I was suffering hellish art blocks. Not only did it help me clear my mind, but it also made sure I didn't murder or cause the murder of anyone I lived with... Though, I ended up stuck in the snow more than once because of that. Loads of fun, there.

I dunno. Looked funny enough, but sorry for being a cynicist, I doubt that it'll replace Zbrush in terms of... you know... being actually useful? Or fun after the initial 5 minutes. But I'm glad that PS4 is coming out ^-^

Well it's good that you take other into consideration. I don't. But then again, I'm a total wimp, so instead of taking my anger out on anyone with boiling olive-oil, I'll just mumble some mean things when I'm alone out, taking the dog for a walk :P

I'm a cynic, but I can't completely turn off the blind optimism I have that things like this will be revolutionary.

I guess I would me more excited about the system in general if I felt current generation systems were utilizing the power they have to do new things instead of milking old ones. I mean, yeay, more technology, but who the hell cares if all they're using it for is another goddamned modern call of warfare's duty clone (oh yeah, the millions who will buy it 'cuz they know the name).
As for fun after the initial 5 minutes... minecraft. That's all I have to say about that.

I have no choice but to take others into consideration. I need them. For strategic sheep herding purposes.

Passive agressive-ness isn't healthy. Its been scientifically proven that people who are outwardly angry and just punch their problems in the face live longer. There is no exaggeration in this whatsoever O.o
