Years and years ago, I had a sketch in a book. It was basically this, but it looked like it was drawn by a 3 year old.
Then there was this one, several years later. Still not the best. I've learned over the years that I CANNOT replicate drawings. The second attempt is always worse than the first, no matter how shitty the first is. That would probably by one of the many reasons this one never got finished... other than that guy in the background... about the time i got to drawing this, I was contemplating removing him from the story. He's not actually a dude, hes a machine.. and it all began to feel trite to me.
I haven't done much with this story since then. It did develop into a campaign for Arkieden that people seemed to generally enjoy, once I got past the dread of running a long-term campaign (6 or 7 months, at least. I'm not entirely sure how long it went, but I'm definitely sure how it ended. You're all assholes, and you all know who I'm talking about.) The guy in the background never made it into that campaign. One douche (Trevineau) was enough, apparently.
So this was another sketch I pulled out of my desk while cleaning. If I say "one day, I will do something with this" while looking at one more sketch, that one day might have to come because IM RUNNING OUT OF PROCRASTINATING DAYS.
