PFFFT. OH MY FREAKING GOD
So, this picture was originally just the girl, but after I scanned it in, cleaned up the lineart, and looked at it, I was horribly disappointed. HORRIBLY. It was BOOOORING. I knew I was going to have to add SOMETHING in PS, but that dragon? Totally a spur-of-the-moment-whim-turned-punishment-because-I-needed-something-to-spice-up-the-image.
My hand is crippled. You would have thought that, by now, I would have learned my lesson about inking in PhotoShop... my poor hand can't handle it. If I would have just thrown it in my sketchbook, it probably would have taken me half the time and none of the pain. But no.
But you know what? I like how it turned out. So much so, that I think I'm going to go find a wall and punch it until my hand goes numb. That's right, I like it so much I'ma punch a wall.
Props to ~PsychoMonkeyShogun for the winning kiriban (30K was it? I have no idea any more, that was, like, 4 months ago) request that started this ridiculous little venture. His request was just the girl, not the dragon...
Anyway, this is my entry for the
's March lineart contest, themed Steampunk. If this wins, I am so not coloring it... >.<
