Aika

Been experimenting with a new style a lil bit here and there. Something quick and sketchy- I like how its coming out so far. It's making character design a breeze.

This is Aika, one of the 4 members of Kittens with Spikes.

You see, once upon a time, I decided it was time to have a band somewhere in my stories. I started out with that drawing you see in that link up there, then completely gave up. Pretty much never drew any of them again, except probably twice in that 8 years they've been sitting in my sketchbook. So I decided that, since they were so old, and I suddenly had this wave of inspiration, they MUST be redesigned.

Step 4 was Aika. Why do I post her first? I DUNNO!

Anyway, Aika is the guitarist (actually, the frontmost character in the original). I decided to develop them into races that would fit within the Arkieden universe, so Aika, who I decided to go a lil tribal fusion with, became a Gear- because there is NO better race for that.
